About Kristin

I'm a little bit of the South and the Southwest all rolled into one and fortunate enough to be from a part of the world where hats are still tipped and "Yes Ma'am" and "Yes Sir" are frequently used. I'm also someone who doesn't take life or themselves too seriously. Born in Kentucky, I was carted around by my military father and spent much of my time growing up in laid-back New Mexico, where I ended up meeting my husband while we were in college. He played basketball, I was a cheerleader.... and in my not-so-humble opinion, we were meant to be together. 

We are now back south of the Mason Dixon line, living in Tennessee and loving our southern lifestyle. I used to work full time in the crazy world of cheerleading (UCA) and am now a freelance writer, runner, mama and not-so-domestic wifey. The hubs owns his own sport performance business (where I, at times, boss him around humbly put in my two cents on how to run it). Together, we have 2 little girls named McKenna Rayne & Meda Grayson. Our lives are a fun, outrageous, and hilarious adventure -- to say the least! And you're welcome to join me in it every step of the way!
